Item # E2430. Price $645. Circa 1940. Mahogany Millinery Cabinet / Tallboy. Built as a beautiful Mahogany millinery Cabinet this lovely piece could also double as a tallboy. Milliners used to keep fabrics for making ladies hats as well as the hats themselves in these cupboards - there aren't many left these days! However, the cabinets still provide excellent storage and this one is in great condition in a beautiful medium tone mahogany with all original brass pulls. The cabinet could also be used as a T.V. or stereo cabinet since both upper shelves are removable. Interior Dimensions (to fit T.V.): 28 1/2"(w) 15"(d). The bottom shelf of the cupboard sits 34" from the floor. Exterior Dimensions: 57 1/2"(h) 31"(w) 17 1/2"(d).
